General & Preventative Dentistry

General & Preventative Dentistry

We'll make sure your smile is healthy and bright! Dr. Deak showing a patient her newly cleaned teeth.

Quality Dental Care

Bright smiles start with healthy teeth and gums. As well as keeping your teeth and gums healthy through regular checkups and cleaning, general dental care involves the permanent restoration of decayed or broken teeth and the replacement of missing teeth to restore form and function to your smile.

We use the latest technology to provide a comfortable and pain-free experience and to give you accurate, quality work.

Maintaining Healthy Teeth

Regular checkups and cleanings are required to maintain good health because decay can eat away from the tooth’s surface to the nerve in the heart of the tooth in just a year.

We have dedicated hygienists to take care of routine teeth and gum cleaning, which allows you to schedule conveniently and ensures you don't have to wait. Our hygienists are very trained and experienced and use gentle techniques.

Oral Cancer Screening

As part of a checkup we can provide oral cancer screening using the VELscope® detection system.

Tooth-colored fillings as a substitute for metal fillings

Aesthetics is the big advantage over metal fillings. Additionally, as metal does not stick to teeth, healthy tooth structure is usually removed to keep a metal filling in place. Composites permit your dentist to remove only the decayed area of your tooth. Unlike metal fillings, composite bonding expands just like your teeth and are much less likely to cause cracks in your tooth. Composites bond directly to the tooth providing support.
