Galileos 3-D Dental X-Rays
With Galileos we can see in 3D. The advantages are obvious. Hold a hand over one eye to see what I mean. It is like having an in-office CT (CAT) scanner, except the X-ray dose to the patient can be 100X smaller and the cost can be 1/3 to 1/4 the cost of a hospital-based CT.
Bony pathology, sinus problems, root canal problems and gum disease all show up clearly. Braces and dental implants can be planned more accurately. It is like being able to hold a skull in your hands and turn it over and around to see things!
Dr. Davidson is the only general dentist in the Cleveland area to have one of these machines and was the first dentist in the state to have one. He lectures to other dentists around the country on how to incorporate 3D x-rays into everyday dental practice.
